Weiss Staff Obtain Construction General Permit QSD/P Certification from California Storm Water Quality Association

Weiss Associates is pleased to announce that three of our staff passed the exam and are now Qualified Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Developers and Practitioners (QSD/QSP). This qualification allows them to develop and implement SWPPPs under the recently revised General Permit for Discharges of Storm Water Associated with Construction Activity
2009-0009-DWQ (CGP) adopted by the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB). Effective July 1, 2010, construction activity disturbing one acre or more, or less than one acre but part of a larger common plan of development or sale, must be covered by a CGP.

More information about the CGP is available from the SWRCB.

In addition to developing and implementing SWPPPs in accordance with the CGP, Weiss Associates continues to provide storm water management services such as hydrologic analysis, drainage basin and watershed management, drainage design and water quality monitoring.
